A year after, the young couple attended a Christmas event at their alma mater. After the service, Krishan asked Katie to take a picture with him outside.

We worked closely with Catherine at Bash Events to change around the layout and dinner menu. These two made it work though, by countless phone calls, Skype dates, letters, and care packages sent in the mail. Their love grew despite the challenging distance between them!
After coordinating with her parents a plan for them to take Emma out to dinner and away from the cabin, Mido traveled six hours, strung up lights on the dock, changed into his suit, and waited for them all to get home. They wanted all their friends and family to really enjoy the day too and not worry about a thing. That date went incredibly well and Emma knew he was worth the wait.
We were honored to get to make their wedding dreams come true. His parents came out from hiding after he proposed so both families could celebrate this joyous occasion.
During the following three years, they had many mutual friends but not anything more than acquaintances. It was revealed that Mido was two hours! He was a year older than she, but they both attended Psych that semester and met in their lecture.
They knew that they wanted a wedding weekend that was going to allow them to have fun and be stress-free. We are so happy for the couple and thrilled that they had the best day.
Two months into dating, Mido accepted a job in Indianapolis and so they had seven hours of driving time between them. Emma then accepted a teaching position in Minneapolis, and their commute extended to ten hours!
When Emma saw him standing with the ring, it was a huge surprise! Congratulations to the happy couple!
Then, as everyone already is aware, the coronavirus caused so much turmoil and stress for all couples getting married in We had a lot of changes to make, including sending out some Un-Save the Dates to guests. The Clement family has a cabin on a beautiful lake in Minnesota and Mido knew it was the ideal place to propose to Emma. Mido also hired a photographer to capture the event and those photos are the best to remember such an amazing moment.
It was the most beautiful proposal and such an amazing experience for the couple. Clearly, they were having a blast as shown by all of the images of the couple just bursting with laughter and smiles.
