The New Forest is a bit further on; London is about an hour away by train Winchester - Waterloo is a direct line. Let's meet at the Discover Centre - the cafe there is pleasant. I have had similar difficulties finding others in my situation, as all expat groups seem to be focused around London which doesn't seem reasonable.
